On the 3^rd of November, one of our CREST partners, IRMiR, had the opportunity to visit in person our lead partner Augmentcity AS, in Alesund, Norway.

Experts in tourism say this is not the best season to visit Norway as it is already very cold, however this is not an obstacle for IRMiR! This was an opportunity for IRMiR to take get further acquainted with the augmented reality technology. Two top scientists of IRMiR experienced an immersive opportunity in the Augmentcity simulator.

Augmented reality technology and the digital twins approach can greatly impact future researches, not only regarding climate change. CREST might be one of the pioneers by applying these to real life scenarios. Stay tuned if you wish to know more!
