AugmentCity AS is a world leading simulation/visualising company, a spin-off from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and most of its work is R&D oriented. AugmentCity decreases the gap between man and machine by humanizing and contextualizing complex data. The cloud-based platform enables cities to benchmark on sustainability key performance indicators and their stakeholders to collaborate on urban or territorial development through visualization by importing digital elevation and BIM models and integrating different data APIs for rich and immersive modelling of future scenarios: One platform – multiple datasets – cross-disciplinary collaboration for a smarter and more sustainable future. Recent reality augmenting projects include the visualization of decarbonization infrastructure projects, the instant simulation of mobility, improving energy efficiency in office buildings, live-editing terrain and buildings, simulating sea-level rise in coastal cities.

The Kołobrzeg Commune is a Local Government Unit established in 1990 and situated on the Trzebiatów Coast and on the Gryficka and Białogardzka plains by the Baltic Sea. The local government is an organization of the local commune and, at the same time, a form of public administration, in which residents form a community by virtue of law and relatively independently decide on the implementation of administrative tasks resulting from the needs of this community in a given territory and permitted by local government by statutes, under the statutory supervision of the administration. The Kołobrzeg Commune covers an area of 144 square kilometers, where 22 towns are inhabited by 10 361 people.

It consists of a team of urban researchers, economists, geographers, sociologists, urban planners, and data scientists. BSE (Bordeaux School of Economics) is a Joint Research Unit (UMR) consisting of CNRS and the University of Bordeaux and was created in 2022 to specialize in the field of economics. Futurs Act is an association which aims to bring out research and research-action projects responding to objectives such as assess potential impacts of possible futures, co-create climate change adaptation scenarios, explore and experiment with pathways to prepare desirable futures, promote the inclusion of local stakeholders and interfacing between science and civil society, facilitate changes of scale (from global forecasts to territorial foresight), and prioritise knowledge for action that can be grasped by citizens, socio-economic stakeholders and public decision-makers. Futurs Act counts with 62 higher education and research laboratories, 15 research organizations, and has, to date, 13 labelled projects approved for funding. Futurs Act is located in France in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. Another important value of Futurs Act is its strategic foresight which confers the ability to explore, anticipate and shape the future
